VNCPC contributed in developing green industry in Vietnam

 Dated 05/03/2010 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Education and Training, Industrial Development Organization United Nations (UNIDO), Swiss Agency for Cooperation (SECO / SCD) in Vietnam tripartite conference project evaluation results VIE/04/064 "Promote new services on Cleaner Production in Vietnam through the Vietnam Cleaner Production Centre".

After five years of implementation with a capital of 2 million funded by UNIDO, VIE/04/064 project has achieved the aim of strengthening the competitiveness of Vietnam Industrial and integration into sustainable supply networks globally through the promotion of sustainable production methods, thereby, improving the ecological efficiency and social responsibility, transfer, develop and expand markets for cleaner production in Vietnam. In the framework of the project, particularly through the Trust Fund for green credit, technical assistance has VNCPC, technology transfer and training in cleaner production, improving eco-efficiency and social responsibility for over 80 companies in the country, expanding the network of cleaner production in Vietnam. This is also a time marked shift Cleaner Production Centre Vietnam from a research organization into a business unit of service science and technology independence under Technology Holding.

She Brighitte Bruhin - Deputy Country Director Swiss cooperation agencies in Vietnam, said: "In the context of climate change, water scarcity, biodiversity loss caused by environmental pollution is going on world, cleaner production in industry have a close relationship with energy issues as well as the efficient use of non-renewable resources. VNCPC has affirmed its position in consulting for businesses in Vietnam, the services provided by VNCPC always gives businesses the ideal approach to finding solutions for a sustainable process industry-friendly environment and economic efficiency, and gives businesses the advantage in production costs in the long run.
